
Between April 12 and 19, 2022, representatives of the company Fisa, of the GL events Group, together with the Fundación Más Industria Audiovisual, held several informative meetings with the main exponents of the industry in the country, to present a preview of what will be the first Exhibition of Audiovisual Content and Technologies, ACTE 2022. The initiative was attended by more than 46 representatives of universities and training centers, technology and service companies, film, television, animation and video game developers, as well as embassies and chambers of commerce. At the event, the manager of the ACTE project, Armando Valenzuela, emphasized that “our objective is to make known what the exhibition will be, which aims to promote the image of Chile as a filming destination in the audiovisual market, show the achievements and the capacity of local audiovisual production, introduce new technologies, educational aspects and contents not available in the country to the market, and contribute to attract new sources of financing and national and international actors”. The meeting will be presented as an opportunity to show the development that Chile has achieved, and to learn from international advances, exchanging experiences in order to continue growing. “After holding informative meetings and talking face to face with the top representatives of the country’s audiovisual industry, we hope that it will be a point of motivation for more industry players to be part of this important meeting,” said Valenzuela. “The meetings have been of great relevance to confirm in practice, the great need that exists in the audiovisual industry, to bring together professionals and companies in this world, in a face-to-face event, high-level, to generate development opportunities for all,” he added. Patricio Ochoa, President of the Fundación Más Industria Audiovisual, pointed out that “collective work is undoubtedly of the utmost importance in the development of the industries. What has been presented in recent days by FISA and Fundación + Industria Audiovisual is a clear effort for the development of content from Chile to Latin America”. ACTE 2022 The Audiovisual Content and Technologies exhibition will be held from November 07 to 09, 2022 at the Metropolitan Santiago Convention & Event Center, Santiago de Chile, bringing together in one place the Chilean audiovisual industry with national and international actors for the promotion, marketing, networking and strengthening of the industry in our country. The exhibition will be spread over more than 4,000 m2, will host nearly 100 exhibitors and sponsors from 25 participating countries, and will showcase more than 200 brands. The event will also feature 50 conferences and audiovisual activations in which more than 6,000 visitors will be able to participate.
